We’re so excited to have you here for the 2015–2016 school year and would like to say thank you for choosing Campus Pointe as your home! We promise to make this year as memorable as possible and can’t wait to see you at our upcoming resident events. Please look for these on our social media pages to stay informed about dates and times. And without further ado, good luck this school year — you’re going to rock it!
Having trouble getting used to your electronic room key? You’re not alone. It takes about a week for most residents to do so. However, here are some warning signs you should know about in case you begin to experience issues entering your apartment:
Light above door knob blinks red one to three times: Your key will need to be brought to the office for reprogramming.
Light above door knob blinks red up to 12 times OR does not light up at all: The battery in your door is dead and needs to be replaced. Simply call the office and maintenance will be there to assist in no time!
Reminders & Updates
Here are some tips for a successful year at Campus Pointe:
Rent is due on the 1st of each month! Luckily, you have until the 3rd to pay your rent before late fees begin accruing on the 4th at 8:00 a.m. If you have any questions regarding the payment portal or about your account, please see Jackie Grant in the office or email her at [email protected].
Don’t forget to pick up your parking pass in the office if you haven’t done so already. Baker’s Towing comes through every evening to survey the parking lots, and we would hate for your car to be towed because your sticker was missing from the back windshield. Don’t forget to tell your guests about this either so that they know to park in the visitors’ lot.
Have a small fix that requires maintenance assistance but don’t know how to resolve it? Simply put in a service request. You can call the office Monday through Friday from 10:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday during regular office hours, or submit a request online through your account at campuspointekent.com. Please keep in mind that our maintenance team has limited hours on weekends, so unless it’s a fire or flood emergency, don’t be alarmed if your request is not handled until Monday — we’d never forget about you!
The Students First™ Passport Program
We want to make sure you know how to make the most of your experience this year while living at our community. Check out the four easy steps below on how to join and participate in our Students First™ Passport Program, which will open the doors to fun events and great rewards for you!
Step 1: Get Your Passport
If you’re a new resident, you should’ve received your Students First™ Passport in the welcome packet materials you received on move-in day. If not or if you’re a returning resident, please stop by the management office today to get yours!
Step 2: Keep It Safe
Write your name on the inside cover of your Students First™ Passport, and keep it in a safe location so you don’t misplace it. If you ever need a replacement, just stop by the management office to get a new one. However, we can’t give you back your lost stamps, so try not to lose it!
Step 3: Attend Community Events
We’re going to have a ton of great events for you this year, so make sure to keep an eye out on social media, flyers, and these monthly newsletters to see what’s coming up. When you come to an event, bring your Students First™ Passport with you to receive a stamp for attending. Some events may even be worth more than one stamp, so definitely check those out!
Step 4: Win Big
Throughout the year, we’ll advertise times when stamps can be redeemed for rewards or prizes. In some cases, stamps could equal raffle tickets in a drawing for an awesome prize, or they could count toward a discount on services. Make sure to keep an eye out for the updated Students First™ Passport posters in the management office and clubhouse to find out what your stamps are worth!

Community Events Calendar
The Great Move-in March — Aug. 22
Welcome home, residents! Saturday is going to be jam-packed with boatloads of fun. We’ll have plenty of food to supply you and your moving crew with when you decide to take a break from all of that hard work. Later in the evening, we’ll have our second annual Back-to-School Bash. This pool party will be one you won’t want to miss, so be sure to get here early!
We Heart You Wednesdays
Every Wednesday, do yourself a favor and stop by the clubhouse during office hours so we can show you how much we appreciate you. Our CAs will gladly assist in making you a free bag of popcorn just to say thanks for calling Campus Pointe your home!
